Dragonflies and bees

The meaning of a dragonfly changes with each culture. The main symbolism's of the dragonfly are renewal, positive force and the power of life in general. Dragonflies can also be a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity. Also, as a creature of the wind, the dragonfly frequently represents change. And as a dragonfly lives a short life, it knows it must live its life to the fullest with the short time it has - which is a lesson for all of us.

Hello! I'm new to your blog but I really like it. I find your pictures very inspiring.

I'm from Finland and in the Finnish language the word for dragonfly is 'sudenkorento', 'suden' being the genitive for the word meaning 'wolf'. How the dragonfly and wolf got connected like that, I have no idea, but I would love to know the etymology.

I am finding that the most beautiful things are those that are past up every day of our lives. It's worthwhile to take a take the time to look at the little things.
Thank you for your story.
